Fedora 8 installation on a Toshiba A200
The Fedora 8 default DVD does not start on my Toshiba A200 (A200-12x).
But this problem is solved by adding the following parameters to the kernel command line:
apm=off acpi=off noapic
This is done by pressing "TAB" key when the Fedora 8 DVD boots and displays the first installation options.
I didn't do a Fedora 8 install, but you can perhaps follow my guidelines on how to install Fedora 7 on a Toshiba A200
